This is the first time, ever, FMQ has been done on my 50 year old Pfaff, and it works like a charm! The only minus is that this babe doesn't have a needle-down funvtion.

I am working on the 2013-2014 Mystery Quilt from the FQS. All the blocks are done and all the finishing pieces are cut. Yesterday we made the nine patch corner stones and are ready to start sewing the blocks and sashing's together. Won't be able to work on it for a day or two as our grandson is coming up for the week.

This week I am making baby blankets and burp cloths because we just found out that my nephew and his wife are expecting another baby! I also found out last night that a year-old great niece will be visiting in July, so I want to make something for her, too. Happy days. :)

I am working on a baby changing pad. Unfortunately, my machine needle was stuck in the bobbin area while i was working and this kind of scared me. Well, i suppose it is something that can happen to anyone...!

I am working on an Arkansas Crossroads quilt made from 2 7/8 in squares I received from an acquaintance whose mother had passed and left them to her. I am using the corners cut from the 'flip' method to make a table topper - so I am actually working on two at the same time! I like using 'salvaging' quilting items that would normally be discarded. Just finished a queen sized quilt and tried free motion quilting for the first time. It wasn't perfect but with practice can only get better. Now planning for my next quilting project. Likely a baby quilt.
