Quilt Market Recap 2014

Hi there! I have a fun post today, filled with pictures from Quilt Market! Jodie and I had a lot of fun seeing all the beautiful booths and meeting lots of quilty and fabric friends!

We got into Houston on Friday night.  We missed Sample Spree, because we had no idea that you needed a ticket to get in! So now we know for next year! :)

We stayed all day Saturday, and went back for a few appointments on Sunday morning, and then left back for Dallas.  So it was a short trip, but we had so much fun!

Jodie and Lindsey ready to go to Market!

We got to meet the adorable and super friendly Kate Spain!! She is just as lovely in person!

Jodie met up with Nan Baker the designer of the Splendor In the Grass pattern! This is one of our most popular kits! You can purchase one here!

We also got to meet Bonnie and Camille! They were super sweet in person, and their booth was gorgeous! We have their entire Day Sail collection ordered!

I got to meet the super sweet and friendly Amy Butler! I got to show her my first bag I made with her pattern! She was so nice, and so was her husband Dave!

Jodie meeting with her Moda Rep Jane.  Jane was the sweetest person! She showed us lots of amazing upcoming lines!  We ordered some lovely fabrics from Moda!

One of the lines we ordered was Gardenvale by Jen Kingwell! This line is GORGEOUS! It has a lovely vintage vibe, and is in high demand! We ordered the entire collection! This line will be coming next year!

Jen Kingwell's booth! Her quilts were amazing! They were all hand quilted and I could have stared at them for hours!

This was my favorite quilt of hers.  This modern dresden, is spectacular.  I love the dark background! We will also be carrying kits for this quilt when Gardenvale comes out!

Next up, is the super lovely Aloha Girl by Fig Tree & Co.  This line was adorable.  I love the colors in this line and the floral influence! So pretty! Look for some of the fabrics in the shop next year!

One of my favorite lines from Moda was Kate Spain's new line Pardiso.  I have a slight obsession with Kate Spain's work and this new line is soooo pretty! I love the vibrant pinks and blues in this line!

This was my favorite quilt in her booth.  We will be kitting this when the fabric arrives! So be sure to check the shop!

Lastly is this beautiful line called Ambleside by Brenda Riddle.  Oh my goodness, this fabric is seriously gorgeous! I love the color palette of this line.  It is so soft and comforting! I can't wait to get my hands on some of this when we get it in stock!

Brenda's booth was seriously one of my favorites! I love her style, and the quilts she had were simply gorgeous!

We had a great time at market, and I wish I would have taken more pictures! I think I was just trying to take everything in, and my camera was the last thing on my mind!

We also ordered some lovely new collections from Northcott, Dear Stella, AdornIt, and Willmington! So be sure to check the shop's coming soon section for updates! :)

Talk to you soon,
