Hi there! I'm really excited to share this next project with you! When thinking of the second project for the series, I wanted to do something that wasn't only functional, but also show you a piecing technique you may have not done before!

These blocks are so fun to make! I would love to make an entire quilt from this quilt block! It would be darling. These are pieced quite simply, but there is a partial seam involved when you piece these together. I hope if you haven't ever used this technique, you won't shy away! It is a lot easier than it looks, and once you do it-you will wonder why you were worried!
The pot holders are about 9" finished, and I kept them square. However, if you wanted to round the corners, you could do so! You would just need to cut bias binding, so your binding would go around the curves nicely. I also quilted them quite simply with some straight line quilting.

I had a great time stitching these up! There is always something so gratifying about making something you can use that is both pretty and functional! Now I just need to make a few more sets! One can never have enough of these! ;)
I hope you enjoy stitching these up as much as I did!
Talk to you soon,
**PS: Aside from the 3rd project (the tea towels, which will post next Sunday), I have a bonus project to share with you! So keep all your scraps and stay tuned!
