I go to a plus sign (or cross) quilt. Its made up of 5 blocks of fabric (any size, but the bigger the block, the faster, easier, and bigger)!
Disappearing nine-patch is my go-to quick pattern.
Chinese coins. Easy, fast and I can use scraps and yardage on hand. Thanks for the chance
My go to quilt pattern is the nine patch. I just never get sick of that one! Thanks for the giveaway; I love those colors too! sarah@forrussia.org
Lately, my "go to" has been sewing crumbs and bits and pieces together to make fun, scrappy blocks. Thanks a bunch for the chance to win those yummy fat quarters! While looking at them, I thought I could actually hear the ocean waves. ☺
my nana maree @ yahoo . com
The Warm Wishes pattern. That or a 9 patch.
Nine patch with sashing is my go to pattern!
I usually go with a coin pattern. Fast and Easy!
My go to pattern will always be the Nine Patch. When I was ten years old in the 1962, I asked all my neighbors for fabric and my mom taught me to hand sew a Nine Patch Block. Mom helped me put all the blocks together and Dad built a quilt frame. The best part is the whole family helped quilt, including my 2 older brothers. Lots of sore fingers later, we had a finished quilt and the best part is that I still have it today. Good memories!!
always a nine patch. working on one right now!!
I always turn to half square triangles in some configuration. Thanks for the chance. Love the colors!
I'm a self taught quilter thru trial 'n error and lots of You Tube, lol. Nine Patch is a great pattern for me! Thanks for the giveaway.
I like the disappearing nine patch! Thank you for the great giveaway, the colors are fabulous!
I agree that disappearing nine patch is a good one. I just finished one this week. But to jazz it up a bit I added a section of paper pieced leaves. Took some extra time to do the leaves, but made it a quilt I am thrilled with!
Me and my sister's easy as 10 or easy as 11 patterns. Super easy :)
I'm with you, I seem to make pinwheel! I love the colors in this bundle but I have to say you have a gift at making beautiful bundles! I've been saving up to get quite a few from your store! Thanks
tdkcarpenoctem@hotmail.com
I like anything by Quilt In A Day. Zig A Zag, Tossed 9 Patch and Hole In The Wall are some that I've done, plus Log Cabin and Double Irish Chain.
Wow...I've never made a quilt top more than once.
9 patch
Hugs and Kisses
I am just beginning to learn to quilt and have only made a log cabin block. I would like to do a fence rail quilt.
Pre- cut squares, so easy to put together different ways, that they will never look the same.
I don't know that I have a standard "go to", as I usually do my quick and easy stuff based on pinterest inspirations. . . but lately I've made a lot of quilts with 4.5" equilateral triangles. I have one of the creative grids rulers that helps you cut five at once, so I love turning all my scraps into triangles. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity, those are my absolute favorite colors!!
This. would match what I'm making maybe fabric fairy will show up
Mine is Falling Charms, fast and easy. Second is winging it with half square triangles. Love the bundle, my favorite colors.
Four patch
Well, I haven't been quilting that long but I think if I needed one fast I could slap 2 pieces of cloth together and machine quilt it. Or maybe a jelly roll race top would work too.
I like the disappearing 9 patch. Great for charms and/or scraps too.
I love making hour glass blocks!
I like the hourglass quilt!
Andrea
ifoundmyboots@yahoo.com
I like the Bargello, easy to do but it looks intricate.
When I'm stuck I typically I use a lot of HSTs... so many different ways to go from there!
Nine patch is my favorite!
I just made a Bow Tie quilt, super easy and fast, cute one for a boy!
A jelly roll Race quilt would be my quicky quilt
good old fashioned nine patch quilt blocks. Love making them and seeing them come together. Thanks
I've only used a log cabin type of pattern
Thanks.
Peggy
peggy_verdongibbs@att.net
I have a pattern buried in my stash that is very fat quarter friendly and it reminds me of an adaptation of Rail Fence. I don't know where it is at this minute.
My favorite is the x and o quilts...thank you
Mine would also have to be pinwheels.
verstraete10@aol.com
My go-to pattern is a 9-patch. I never get tired of seeing this quilt block.
I would also choose pinwheels. I use the fast and easy way of making them.
Pretty new to quilting...so have used 9-Patch & HST's the most. I do loooove Pinwheels tho! Was 1st quilt I made..then did a Tumbler, and finished up 2 D9P quilts for Christmas gifts. D9P is only one I hsave made two times...so far! :)
I haven't made enough quilts yet to have a "go-to" I've only made 6 quilts and just finished a SWOON quilt top done in Moda's Scrumptious fabric and it is gorgeous!! I would love to make more of that...but it isn't a fast and easy one.
My go to pattern is the Ohio Star. I love it. Beautiful bundle, thanks for the chance to win.
You can't beat your simple nine-patch patchwork using a charm pack and a solid!
Love the colors in the bundle!
The Rail Fence pattern is an easy & quick one to do.
My favorite fast quilt is the pattern for use with fat quarters called "Yellow Brick Road" by Atkinson Designs. After many years I still see it in the quilt shops and it makes a great contemporary baby quilt or a fast colorful quilt for the grand kids.
I've never made a pattern twice - yet.
I've made variations of stacked coins for quickies. thanx for the chance to win that gorgeous bundle of aquas.
My go to pattern is the designer star pattern by my lovely friend May Chappell -- it only requires 6 fabrics and easily adjusts to any size needed.
I don't particularly have a favorite pattern but when I want to make something quick I whip up 4 or 9 patch blocks and arrange them in a pleasing pattern that I like.
I haven't been quilting long enough to have a "go to" pattern yet and I'm not sure I'd ever want to make the same one twice anyway.
jen dot barnard at btinternet dot com
I like using charm squares since I'm just learning to quilt. These go together pretty quick and easy.
I really don't have a go to pattern because I am just learning. I did make the jelly roll race quilt & that was quick & easy.
Simple patchwork if I really want something fast. A few wonky stars thrown in if I want it to be a bit fancier
Apparently I'm a slow poke. I haven't duplicated one yet so I don't know. Although I have several charm packs which will be fast and easy.
Pinwheels are my all time favorite also!
Being a newbie, having only finished one quilt, I don't have a go-to pattern yet. :)
craftyccain@gmail.com
I'm new to quilting, but I really like making pinwheels from charm squares. Love the serene colors in the fqb.
It depends on the fabric and my mood. The D9P is always good, a split rail is good, a simple 3Dudes quilt is good.
Gorgeous bundle :) For me it is a shaggy edge quilt - takes me no time to make them.
I don't really have a go to pattern as such, but HSTs are usually a fun and fast quilt :o)
I like to do the Courthouse Steps variation in the More Quilts for Baby book...it's fast easy and is a great novelty fabric frame!
Disappearing 9 patch!
My go to quilt is to use a charm pack with some jelly rill strips added, it is already cut and quick to put together, Thanks for a gorgeous giveaway. x
I would say tumbler or nine patch! thanks for the beautiful giveaway!
My go to pattern is 9-patch. Can't beat it for impressive look with few ways to go wrong. Thanks for the chance to win this beautiful fabric.
My go to pattern is "One Block Wonder." Quick and easy, no seams to match.
I would say a 9 patch or 4 patch with HST. I'm working on a 4 patch now all scrappy. Gorgeous fabric bundle!!! Thanks for the chance to win.
My easy pattern is the rail fence, and I have now started to put an appliqué on it somewhere, dogs, cats, flowers.
the nine patch would be the go to for me also...and there is the log cabin. double Irish Chain is quick too!!!
thanks for this chance
My go to is patchwork. You can up size the squares for a quick put together quilt.
I like a 9-patch, especially for a baby quilt. It reminds me of the prescious quilt my great grandmother made for me when I was little.
I go to pinwheels every time I love the quick method that you sew around the outside edge of squares and then cut across the diagonal twice. Thanks for a chance in your giveaway!
I'm a super beginner quilter so I just go for simple patchwork, like piecing 5 inch charms together or 9 patch. That one can be very straight and proper or wonky.
Courthouse steps or log cabin. It was the first block I ever made and still my favorite!
I do no really have a go-to-pattern... I try to learn something new each time. For baby quilts I will try to use flannel as backing if I can get my hands on some that looks cool.
The bundle that is up for grabs is truely awesome! So COOL!
Esther
I'd probably go with 9 patch or 4 patch. I have a quick baby quilt pattern called "Super Size 9 Patch", just made 8 for my cousin to take on her mission trip to Romania. I have made several , Eleanor Burns log cabins. Would love to win that bundle--great colors! dabblanton @yahoo.com
My favourite quick and easy one doesn't really have a name (unless it's one patch, lol) - it's 36 x 6.5" squares set 6x6, using 2 or 6 different fabrics. It's the perfect size for a baby, and very quick to make up :)
my favourite is just straightforward patchwork squares, preferably using precuts!
Dreamy fabric! I tend to go to Log Cabins, arranged differently. Thanks for the giveaway!
I usually don't make the same one twice, the only one I have is hugs and kisses.
My go-to pattern for a quick quilt finish is a simple patchwork square layout. Alternatively for a bit of a change (but still quick & easy) I'll set the squares on point. Thanks for the lovely giveaway.
My go to quilt, is fence rails. They are so easy to make and I can adjust the size and make it bigger or smaller.
9-patch or 4-patch alternated with squares... Scrappy and quick!
Either a rail fence or a cheveron using precuts.
Patchwork squares.
My favorite 'need it yesterday' go to pattern for quilts is the Vanishing 9 Patch!
9 patch
My go to quilt is the one where you keep sewing strips of fabric together until you get the size that you want. Thanks!
I go-to 9 Patch quilts. They are so quick and easy. Lovely fabric for the giveaway! svonfumetti at yahoo dot com
Ooooooohhhhh ... pretty! As I consider myself still a newbie, my easy-peasy-quick quilt would be a simple charm pack (or squares of any size) quilt.
I've yet to make a quilt! I bought the prettiest jelly roll and now don't know what to do with it! But these fabrics would go with my jelly roll perfectly. Could be time to make up my mind.
My go-to pattern for a quick quilt is the 9 patch and it is even easier and faster if I use precuts!
This winter I've been liking the Cherry Charm Pack quilt, which was a free pattern from Fat Quarter Shop. It goes together easily and looks great!
The giveaway fabric is beautiful. My go to quilt is usually a square within a square. Thanks for the giveaway.
I don't have a go-to quilt pattern. I have not made any quilt pattern more than once yet. That's a gorgeous bundle. Thanks for the chance to win.
I don't know that I have a go to quilt pattern yet. I just love to do D9 patches and have made a couple of those but I also love curves so I have made some quilts with the quick curve ruler. These fabrics are lovely.
Disappearing 9-patch is a quick quilt with several variations. For a kids' charity quilt, I go to an easy four patch in solids separating larger blocks of a great kids' focal fabric.
Half square triangles in a variety of layouts
disappearing 9 patch or HST's are always fun & easy
I haven't made many quilts, so I don't have a go to pattern. 24Tangent@gmail.com
I have an Accuquilt Go, and my go-to quilt is a tumbler block. Easy to cut, easy to piece, scrappy goodness or stripes - they're fast and easy. That is a beautiful bundle of fabric - I would love to win that! Thanks for the chance!
It doesn't get much quicker or easier than simple square patchwork.
For me it is a nine patch , dimple yet always wonderful . Thanks for the chance :-)
I like to combine a 9 patch block with a snowball block, especially if I have fabric that I want to either fussy cut or display the great patterns in -love the colors of this bundle
Half square triangles are great. The possibilities are endless!!
cpoot at telus dot net
Log Cabin. It was the first block I learned to make and I love all its variations.
senstrings [at] yahoo [dot] com
My new favorite go to pattern is not really a pattern at all, but a process. I love making the strip quilts from the 2-1/2" by WOF strips. I never know how they will turn out, but I am always pleasantly surprised. I get a lot of requests for quilts made this way!
Haha, I don't make fast and easy quilts. I would like to try that jelly roll race thing; it sounds fast and easy.
Nine Patch
I make a lot of the yellow brick road. I use them for charity quilts. I love this collection of blues.
suebennett1975@gmail.com
I haven't been quilting long enough to have a go-to pattern yet but I'd think it would have to be something with pre-cuts.
Nine patch and anything easy with charms!
A go to for something that looks more complicated than it is would be the Giant Vintage Star pattern on Jeni Baker's blog. It finishes around 68 x 68. 12 of the sixteen blocks are HST and the other four are solid.
Thanks for the opportunity! notwendy gmail
Nine patch Irish Chain. So quick and simple... the first quilt I ever made at a weekend long quilt class!
Log cabin bloc is my go-to favorite.
New to quilting and have just done a rail fence quilted cushion cover
Mullanelou@Gmail.com
coins or postage stamps I would have to say!
Love the colors do fresh. I will have to think what pattern to use them with. Thanks for the chance
I make HST's when I am not sure what to do, and sometimes just for fun. I almost always throw some HST on a quilt!
Hello, I love to do Pinwheels and have done so many that that is what I'd use>love these!
Thanks for sharing!
msstitcher1214@gmail.com
Oooh those are lovely! I am so in love with the aqua/teal/turquoise lately! I really like Tula Pink's field study pattern--it is quick and works great with large prints.
So far I've never made the same quilt twice. The quickest quilt I've made was a panel with borders added.
I would have to say the disappearing 9 patch. Thanks
I love HST, so many options with them. What a beautiful bundle! Thanks for the giveaway!
I'm kind of amused by this question, because I don't really make quilts quickly at all. I think I might whip up a log cabin quilt if I needed to hurry. They can be very traditional, or extra cool in modern prints.
My go to quilt pattern is a log cabin quilt because it is the first quilt pattern I ever made, and in a day.
Oooo, some of my favorite colors. I don't really have a "go to" pattern, but one I've used more than once is called "Flim Flam" by Pressed for Time Quiltworks for a lap-size quilt using FQs. That pattern would work perfectly with this bundle, so I hope I win!
Large HSTs because they can be put together so many different ways and still feel like a new design.
I love all the options of HSTs. Great bundle! Thanks for the chance to win!!
My first quilt was yellow brick road! I would have to say that's my favorite!!! :0)
Irish chain was a fast quilt for me. crystalbluern at onlineok dot com
Half square triangles is my go to pattern! then it's just up to me how to put 'em together and make a pattern :)
My favorite go to pattern is the 9 patch. Thanks for the giveaway.
I don't really have a "go to" pattern, but the first blocks I made were pinwheels and I'm still partial to them. Thanks!
My love would be squares or rectangles. And one of my favorite patterns would be either
Bricks or Turning Twenty. Thanks for the chance to win.
Pin wheels or stars, thanks
I love pinwheels too! That's the pattern I've used the most.
I always go to a square in a square...it's fast & easy and difficult to mess up! Thanks for the give-a-way!
Oh my gosh!! This is a dreamy bundle... Would love to win it!!! I can't say that I have a go to pattern for a quick quilt but I do like the Pinwheel.. Thanks for the chance!
Disappearing 9 patch is quick and easy!
Take Five is my go to pattern-love flipping the blocks for different looks
I don't have a go-to quilt as I love to mix it up and try new things! I don't think I have made the same quilt twice!
I love the simple star, so easy to make. 6"center, with points.
I love to use a charm square bundle, set in 6 x 7 rows, use a narrow inner border and a wider outer border. Fast, quick and all color coordinated.
paweis at yahoo dot com
I have a quilt pattern done by a local gal. It's called I Need It Tomorrow. It's so quick and can be laid out different ways.
I've done the New Wave pattern for a number of baby quilts now - quick and beautiful!
I'd say I would use the nine patch pattern.
I'm still a newbie to quilting so I really don't have a go-to quilt. Right now I'm pretty much willing to try anything once! And I just love the colors of this bundle! Thanks for the opportunity to win!
Disappearing Nine Patch!
6" cut sqaures or a charm pack. Just squares. Super simple, no pattern needed :) Thanks for the chance to win! I'm making an aqua/teal and white quilt and these would fit in perfect! ksmith8@emich.edu
I usually do an I Spy Quilt for a quick project. midwayfarms@hughes.net
I am not a big quilt maker, but if I was to make a lot of quilts, I would do the 9 patch, that's easy and looks different every time.
When making a quick quilt to give away I always relay on using charm packs or jelly rolls. Quiick easy and coordinated. Always received with a "Ahh"! The bundle is just the right colors for a summer project. Thank you for the chance to win it.
D9P. In fact I have just done one! I had a tin full of odd charm squares, you know the ones you aren't too keen on so leave out, or the odd one you haven't used, so I just sewed them all into blocks, cut them up again, and sewed them back in any order, so its very very scrappy. I am going to use it for throwing around when we go camping, much better than them sat in a tin doing nothing. Thanks for the giveaway.
My go to pattern is usually a 9 patch, but I enjoy a good challenge now and then! Love this bundle, my favorite colors for sure! Thanks for a chance at winning!
i am brand new to quilting, so i'm still keeping busy with using charm packs in simple patterns :)
I like to make the Chevron pattern using a jelly roll:)
I am just learning quilting so I don't have a fav yet!
i havent made a whole quilt yet, but i have done pinwheel potholders, and a nine patch doll quilt for my daughter. i dream of having more time to do it soon
No go-to for quilts, as I've never made one. May try my hand at an 18" doll quilt since I'm enjoying re-learning sewing skills by making doll clothes recently, which is what I'd do with this gorgeous fabric if it were in my stash!
I haven't made enough quilts yet to have a go-to pattern yet. There are just too many to try first! However, I think I'll be making lots of puff quilts for baby nieces and nephews.
Rail fence and disappearing four patches. Love them.
I like to make pinwheels.
The only quilt I have ever made more than once is a pinwheel. I guess that qualifies as my "go to", lol. Thanks for the chance to win!
Thd disappearing nine-patch is my favorite quick quilt. Thanks for the chance to win this luscious blue bundle
I like the pattern where I sew strips together and cut them up into blocks. It's fast and fun!
I always do half square triangles when I'm looking to do something quick!
rag quilt or I spy.
ABreading4fun [at] gmail [dot] com
I'm kind of embarrassed about it, but I only just ventured into quilting, so all I've done thus far is a few simple rag quilts. I'm hoping to learn to do more though! :)
aprilgilbertson(at)gmail(dot)com
I've only made a few quilts and they've all been different. So, I haven't found a "go-to" quilt pattern yet. I suspect basics such as 4-patch, 9-patch or HST will be involved when I settle on a "go-to" pattern.
Love this bundle! I just designed a quilt yesterday that will have a white background and blues and teals as the main color and this bundle would be perfect for it! Thanks for such a great opportunity!
I've had a lot of baby quilts to make as gifts this past year and my go to pattern has been a modern chevron look made with simple 2 strip fence rail blocks...if set on point, you get a straight chevron look, but a straight set will give you a diagonal chevron..i've had fun doing both. Thanks so much for sharing and for the chance to win this lovely fq pack!
Probably log cabin or nine patches. Love the colors Thanks
I would say the Disappearing 9 Patch, beautiful colors on the bundle!
Heather
hbrooke_ski (@) hotmail (.) com
My go to quilt is a rag quilt.
I will often use the perfect Ten pattern for lovely fabrics like these. Quick and easy but very effective!
I like Rail Fences for speed, but I often do log cabins and just try to sew a little faster!
I have been experimenting with a variety of 9-patch patterns. I don't really have a go-to pattern yet though. This fabric is so pretty. Reminds me of my childhood home. Thank you!
Turning 20 uses 20 FQs and sometimes I make it smaller using F8s. Would love this giveaway. Today is my birthday sew that would be an awesome win!
I've not been quilting very long, so I don't as yet have one.
Love pinwheels. I'm making a baby quilt for a little girl now with pinwheels and prairie points. Very pretty.
The fabrics are wonderful! I like pinwheels. Thanks. Linda @ slmne5@Yahoo.com
I tend to quilt straight lines and squares. I'm hoping to learn FMQ this year.
Crystoll at aol dot com
Looks like I misinterpreted your question. I don't have a go-to. I just make what I feel at the time.
Crystoll at aol dot com
I usually just wing it, I don't think I've made the same quilt twice. Sometimes I go to the Moda website and check out the quilts made from whatever precut I'm planning on using. ;-> Toni Anne
For a go-to pattern, I would probably say basic patchwork. Or disappearing 9-patch if I have a bit more time.
The 1600 strip quilt! I cut most of my leftovers into 2-1/2" strips. I love this pattern, you can use the resulting sheet of fabric for anything!
Thank you for offering the give away.
Kathi
I love making the dresden patterns.
I do not have a go to pattern, but I do love anything with HST!
Stars - just love them!
What beautiful colors. I have recently used both the disappearing nine patch and turning twenty for quick quilts - but nothing is very quick with me. azsupergram@gmail.com
I'm new on quilting, so I cut squares and sewed them together. So I don't have a go to quilt pattern...yet!
A nine patch is quick and easy. I make a throw size.
My go to are triangles... so simple and yet so stunning! Very quick! Lovely colors!
My go to patterns are half square triangles and Dresden Plates. I just love making the latter. Thank you for a chance to win these gorgeous fabrics.
I like pinwheels for a quick quilt.
