Tea Towel Kits and Free Pattern

Hi there! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend!! I got some sewing time in this weekend and can't wait to show you what I have been working on.  :)

I have been waiting to show you guys these darling tea towels I've made for a while now!  I used the Moda Toweling, which I absolutely love and really can't get enough of! These little lovelies are a fast and easy project, that would make a perfect gift!

The pattern is completely free!

Download our free PDF Pattern HERE!

I had a blast making these towels, and the best part is that they are easy and quick! I literally whipped one of these up in a half an hour!  You really can't beat that! :)
Since Christmas is right around the corner, we have these cute Christmas towel kits available for purchase at the shop!

Click here to see our current Tea Towel Kits!

This Christmas Tea Towel Kit, is very traditional and the fabrics are gorgeous! There is some metallic gold in there, which really sets these towels apart and make them really elegant!

These towels feature Wilmington's popular Christmas 1930's fabric! These just say vintage, and would be a perfect gift for someone who loves 1930's prints!

We also have some everyday towel kits!  This first one is made using Moda's new line Fancy by Lily Ashbury.  These towels almost remind of fiesta ware! They are so bright and cheery!

These lovely coral and brown towels are my absolute favorite! These were made using Fig Tree's Somerset line and they are so fabulous! These would be perfect at your Thanksgiving table!

Talk to you soon!

I'd definitely use and enjoy them, because I could remake them if necessary. My best friend's mom kept her wedding gift towels put away and never used them because they were "too nice" to use and she didn't want them to be ruined. Several years later there was a fire in their home and the towels were destroyed. No one ever got to enjoy the hand-embroidered towels, and the woman who embroidered them never saw her gift used and loved. How sad. -- soparkaveataoldotcom

They are really beautiful and it would be tempting to use them for show. But pretty much anything in my kitchen eventually gets used to wipe up a mess, so I'm sure they'd get used whether I wanted them to or not. :)

I would use them, but I don't think I'd use the pretty fabric on them, just leave them plain. Tea towels don't last long in my house, so I'd keep the other fabric for something that would last.

My sister made me some cross stitch tea towels that I used for show for a long time. Finally I decided they should be used and they have been but now they are stained and not for fancy any more. I feel good about using them but I'd like to have them all pristine and wonderful for visitors too. Its truly a toss up. Thanks.

Doris Rice, The Quilting Queen said...

I'd use them. If they're that easy, you an make more when they begin to look ragged or stained.
