I am going to be kicking the series off with a fun new quilt pattern called Scooter! I was really inspired by this fun print from Robert Kaufman called Retro Racers! I knew I had to make a quilt featuring this great print!

This quilt was so fun to make and came together so quickly! The finished quilt measures at 45" x 45". The great thing about this pattern is that you can chain piece the blocks and it makes it go so quickly. This is such an easy block to put together and is great for those larger prints, so you can show them off!

This quilt is made from one block, and you can alter the pattern to make it as large as small as you'd like by just adding or taking away blocks. It is also a great pattern for a beginner quilter because it uses all basic piecing techniques and comes together really quickly!

For the backing I used this awesome Bungle Jungle Scribble print that I thought just rounded out the entire quilt perfectly! The binding is also a white and gray String print that is perfect for this boy quilt!

What a fun linky idea!! I don't have any tutorials! Oh wait! Maybe I do....a receiving blanket tutorial?? Let me know...if not, I'm totally cool with that and understand why'd you keep it to quilts. Either way I'm looking forward to the linky...as I'm a new grandma who has many of new opportunity to sew baby things!! YAH!
