I just finished a weekender bag for my niece and I am starting another for my daughter. I think this will be a trend for the summer, because as one person shows off the bag others want it. I am having to say...take a number! ;)

I am currently working on 2 projects. 1st is a scrappy bed runner, just received my border fabric yesterday in the mail. The 2nd project is a Spring Sampler, alternating pieced blocks with machine embroidered flower blocks :)

I'm finishing up a Union Jack throw this week for a friend's best girl. She wants so bad to go to the UK! I'm also finishing a Harley Davidson wall hanging as a surprise for him! I put that one away for several weeks, so it's a little ways down.

I am working on the 2013-2014 Mystery Quilt from the FQS. All the blocks are done and all the finishing pieces are cut. Yesterday we made the nine patch corner stones and are ready to start sewing the blocks and sashing's together. Won't be able to work on it for a day or two as our grandson is coming up for the week.

My guild is having a 4 patch exchange next week. I've made hundreds of 4 patches! I'm trying to come up with a layout or design of how I want to use them.
This week I am making baby blankets and burp cloths because we just found out that my nephew and his wife are expecting another baby! I also found out last night that a year-old great niece will be visiting in July, so I want to make something for her, too. Happy days. :)

I am working on an Arkansas Crossroads quilt made from 2 7/8 in squares I received from an acquaintance whose mother had passed and left them to her. I am using the corners cut from the 'flip' method to make a table topper - so I am actually working on two at the same time! I like using 'salvaging' quilting items that would normally be discarded.
