Moda Sampler Block Shuffle {Block 2}

Hi there! I have finished my second block for the Moda Sampler Block Shuffle! I am having so much fun making these darling blocks! This week's block was designed by the talented duo - Me and My Sister Designs: 

I am using a bundle of fat eighths for my blocks:  "Spring Fever".   Jodie pulled these fabrics specifically for these blocks - all the prints are very small scale since the blocks finish at a tiny 6". 

I used the bottom right color option for my block: 

Some other tips I have found useful while sewing up these blocks:

• Since the pieces are rather small, I decreased my stitch length just a tiny bit.  I have found that to be helpful, and my pieces stay secure! 
• Use a SCANT 1/4" seam.  I prefer to use a scant when sewing these smaller blocks - I find that my blocks come out to be the right size when I do a little less than that 1/4" seam!
