I’m Jodie, owner of Fort Worth Fabric Studio!   I learned to sew as a child with the help of my Grandma Teegarden.   Once in high school, I became passionate about sewing garments.  I started working in a fabric store at age 14 - I’ll never forget how proud I was to make $2.85 per hour, and how I swooned over all the newest textiles and sewing patterns!
After graduating from college with a B.S. in Business Administration, I continued sewing as often as possible.   I spent a number of years designing & selling children's boutique clothing to a wonderful group of clientele before deciding to open my own online fabric store.   I couldn't ask for a better job - combing my love for business/entrepreneurship with my love for color/textiles.

Hi, I'm Lindsey! I am happy you stopped by! I am the blogger and pattern designer for Fort Worth Fabric Studio!  I have been crafty since I can remember, and have a love for sewing, crafting, baking, and pretty much anything in between. I have always enjoyed sharing my creativity with others and inspiring others to create!  I hope you take a look around the blog and find something that inspires you! :)

A bit about me: I married my high school sweetheart and we have 3 fabulous kids. My "fabric-ing" as my kids call it...usually happens at night while they are asleep. I enjoy making quilts, pillows, bags, clutches, and am going to try clothing next! I love seeing my children snuggled under a quilt or watching tv with one of the many pillows or my daughter bringing her little purse everywhere full of her treasures. Plus the more projects I sew- the more fabric I need :). I share my sewing adventures on Instagram as http://instagram.com/mellierc/
