Starburst Quilt KIT HERE

ORIGINAL POST  BELOW

Hi there!  I have a fun new quilt pattern and quilt kit to share with you today!  When I saw this lovely new line, "Blue Carolina" - by The Tattooed Quilter,  I fell in love!  It is full of the sweetest blue prints with pops of pink and smatterings of yellow! It is such a lovely combination, and you will just swoon when you see it in person!

I designed this quilt pattern a few months back, and thought this fabric would be perfect for this pattern!  The gradual change from the dark navy to the white is so pretty and makes this quilt POP!
45" x 45"  -  Purchase Kit HERE - SOLD OUT
This pattern is so simple, and comes together rather quickly! It is made up of all half square triangles and squares.  You can easily finish this project in a weekend!  I didn't want the quilting to take over, so I had Primrose Cottage Quilts, just simply quilt it with small loopy loops.

I absolutely LOVE the back of this quilt!  We picked the navy and white lace print for the back, and it is PERFECT!   This print is simply stunning!  I am thinking I need to stock up on this print for other backings - I love it that much!

This is an excellent kit for a beginner quilter or even a seasoned quilter, who is looking for a quick quilt! The pattern is simple, and uses larger blocks.  Only 12 of the blocks are pieced, the other 13 are just 10" squares, so the quilt will come together quickly!

Cherie Jubilee - A New Quilt Kit

Hi there!  I hope you are enjoying your week!  Today I want to share with you my newest pattern! But, first I'd like to tell you a little bit how I come up with my patterns and what inspires me.  I find inspiration everywhere.  I see patterns in everything.  When I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING! In fact, the other day I was watching a cartoon with my kiddos and there was a fun pattern on a house in the cartoon and thought that would make a really great quilt!

When I see something I really like, I try and jot it down before I forget!  Because chances are, if I don't write it down or sketch it out, it will be lost in my brain somewhere--never to be found again! ;) I also will make a pattern specifically for a line of fabric I love.  If I fall in love with a certain print or line, then I will come up with a pattern just for that line of fabric or inspiration piece.

I design a lot of my quilts in Adobe Illustrator.  Which I find is the easiest for me.  However, I have recently started designing in EQ7 for mac, and I have to say I am really enjoying learning how to use it and I especially like importing the fabrics and placing them in my designs.

The quilt kit I am going to share with you today, I found my inspiration from a store bought quilt.   I saw a pattern similar to this one that I am sharing, and thought it would make an excellent quilt to showcase larger prints.  So I made a note, and from there I came up with Jubilee.

Jubilee, has to be one of my favorite patterns I've designed.  Even though it is probably one of the simplest quilts, I love the simple blocks and the fact you can showcase those larger prints!  When I saw Cherie by Art Gallery, I fell in love and knew I wanted them to be used in the Jubilee pattern. I love the fun floral prints in this line, and I adore the bike print.  They are all so fun!  We've paired some of the Cherie prints with some blenders from Art Gallery and came up with a really great palette for this quilt.  It has a nice blend of prints that all compliment each other.

I hope you like Jubilee as much as I do!

Arabian Nights - Simple Sixteen Quilt

Hi there! I have an awesome new Quilt Kit to share with you guys today! Remember my Simple Sixteen pattern and kit I posted a few months ago?  Well, it has gotten such a great response, we have kitted it again, but we are using Art Gallery's Indelible and coordinates!

I can't tell you how much I love these fabrics together, they are absolutely gorgeous, and just mesh so well with each other!  The deep purples paired with the teal and gray--has to be one of my favorite color combinations! Not to mention the lovely geometric prints paired with the deer prints, and florals are so lovely together!  The background fabric we decided on is a lovely cream color, that really compliments the fabrics used in the kit!

ARABIAN NIGHTS QUILT KIT:   This quilt kit features the Indellible Collection by Art Gallery, along with other Art Gallery blenders!  Kit includes the yardage required for an easy quilt top as pictured, binding, and my Simple Sixteen Quilt Pattern!

4-Patch Slice Quilt Pattern

Hi there! I hope you all have been enjoying your weekend! I have had a great time on my little sewing retreat weekend with my mom.  We sewed ALL weekend! I can't wait to show you all the projects we've been working on!

The quilt I am sharing today is a pattern I came up with last year.  I had the tutorial on my personal blog, and it has been so popular I decided to finally make it into a nice PDF pattern for you guys!  We are also offering this lovely quilt as a kit at the shop for purchase.

So here it is:

Finished Quilt Size: 55" x 65"

I am smitten with how this quilt turned out.  It's so charming, and girly! I love the fun, vibrant colors and the vintage charm of the script fabric.  It all works so beautifully together to make a wonderfully scrappy quilt!

For the binding, we used a fun green dot print that works beautifully with the quilt.  The binding was done by hand by The Binding Fairy (my mom).  She did a wonderful job, like always on the binding!

Kathy Lefler quilted this for us.  She did a fantastic job!   We decided on loopy loops, and I am really happy with how it turned out!

You can download the PDF pattern for this quilt RIGHT HERE!

This is such a fun quilt to put together! I hope you enjoy the pattern!

*A big thanks to Nettie Moore (my mom) for piecing this quilt and binding it! And to Kathy Lefler for quilting it!
