Plant Kindness, Gather Love Stitchable

Hi there! I hope you all had a good weekend! :)  I have a fun new embroidery project to share with you.  I love embroidery, it is really quite relaxing to me and I especially love it in the winter time!

I designed this simple pattern with Valentine's Day in mind:
Purchase Kit HERE - sold out
I had a lot of fun designing and stitching up this lovely pattern!  I went for a more primitive look for this specific pattern - and I love how it turned out.

I decided to turn my stitchery into a pillow! I decided on a scrappy-happy log cabin block! I love the scrappy goodness and all those colorful pinks and reds!

Fabric:
2.5" strips of reds and pinks (Go here for all our red and pink prints)
1/2 yard for backing

Cut out all your strips as follows:

You will start with your center square (A) and sew your strips on in a counter clockwise direction.  You will start with your B strip, and then C and so forth.  Pressing after you add each strip.  You will end up with an 18" x 18" block.

Once you are done with your log cabin, you can make into a pillow! Follow this tutorial!

I hope you all enjoy this cute pattern!

Talk to you soon!
