Oh My Darling, Clementine - 10" Squares **SOLD OUT** |
My first project is this Orange Slice Mug Rug! With all of those orange prints, I just couldn't stop thinking about an actual orange! So I came up with this cheery mug rug! You could substitute the batting and use some Insul-Bright and make pot holders!
Supplies:
- Oh My Darling Clementine Bundle
or 6-8 orange scraps - 1/2 yard background fabric
- 1/2 yard of backing fabric
- 1/2 yard of binding
- 1/2 yard of fusible web
- Template - Print HERE
Cutting:
- From background: 12" x 12" square
- From orange: 8 orange slices (backed with fusible web)
This next project was a team effort, my mom helped me come up with this fun Flying Geese Topper. I actually sewed it into a pillow - but thought it looked fun as a table topper too! :)
Supplies
- Oh My Darling Clementine Bundle or 6-8 orange FQ's
- 1/2 yard background fabric
- 1/2 yard of backing fabric
Cutting:
- Out of background:
- 16 - 3.5" squares
- 4 - 2.5" x 12.5" strips
- Out of orange:
- 8 - 6.5" x 3.5" rectangles
- 16 - 1.5" squares
Now you can turn this into a pillow, or just quilt it as a mini quilt! I turned mine into a pillow - but ended up liking it better as a table topper! :)
Now that we shared our fabric for the week, we want to see yours!
Here is your chance to link up anything to do with fabric! You can link up finished quilts, a work in progress, a new fabric you just bought, a project made with fabric, or maybe you just want to show off some of your stash. Anything goes--as long as it has to do with fabric!

love what you have done with that orange fabric - I took a finish off of my quilting frame and got a new top on it.
Beautiful post with all the orange! I just love the orange slice mug rug and saved it already! Thank you for hosting!
Love your oranges.... I used to hate orange and now I like it in all of its varieties. The little quilts look darling in orange.
I love both of your projects..so cute and would make great gifts!! I love orange so thanks all around. May have to give each of those a try.
Ah, I love orange, and your lovely mug rugs. I might try one soon. Thanks a lot.
I love orange and that mug rug is so darn cute! Great projects as always, thanks!
I love orange also but most of my orange stash is fall-ish. I recently began looking for citrus themes in yellow and orange. I found some lovely batiks.
The orange slice mug rug is adorable, and perfect with those fabrics!
Love the orange slice mug rug, so awesome!!!
Oh orange how I love you! These are so cute! :)
Orange is my favorite color and the fat quater bundle is divine! Love the coffee mug rug. Good job!
Love your fabric choices and the patterns, especially the orange mug rug. One note--your typo, Insult Bright was very humorous. I'm trying to think of a product that I could give that name to.
Love the orange slices but I like the lemon slices better. Thanks for sharing the darling ideas. Linda
