Fabric Frenzy Friday

Happy Friday friends!  We have a lovely bundle to share with you today! I had so much fun creating with this happy bundle! Be sure to scroll down to see what I made!

Spot of Tea

Spot of Tea is this week's Bundle Batch!  Featuring Riley Blake's Ardently Austen plus a great mix of coordinating blenders.

Fat Quarter & Half Yard bundles include 8 different prints.
Included in each bundle:
  1. Ardently Austen White Main Print  - Riley Blake
  2. Hazel Buds Red - Windham
  3. Turquoise Net - Dear Stella
  4. Ardently Austen Red Mini Floral  - Riley Blake
  5. Ardently Austen White Main Print  - Riley Blake
  6. Squared Elements Watermelon - Art Gallery
  7. Hazel Floral Outlines Teal - Windham
  8. Pinhead Coral Michael Miller

I really fell in love with this bundle when I got it!  I just love the teacup print in this bundle- it is such a fun print, and I jut love the vibrant colors.  I thought it would be lovely to use these fabrics to make a table runner.

These fabrics are so happy and colorful! They all really compliment each other - so I had no problem making this runner very scrappy!

Alright, let's get started!

Supplies:

Cutting:

3 - 5" squares (A) for the center of the block
12 - 5" squares (B)
12 - 5" squares (C)
24 - 3" squares (D)

Block Assembly:

Take a C square and place a D square right sides together, sew from corner to corner and then trim off excess fabric - 1/4" from your seam.  Sew a corner square triangle on to the two opposite sides of your C square.  You will need 4 of these units per block.
Layout your block and sew squares into rows of three, and press.  Then sew your rows together:

Make three blocks, and then sew your blocks together:

If you would like to make it longer or wider, just add more blocks!

When you are done, baste, quilt and bind with your preferred method.

I thought I would share what this block would look like in a quilt layout.  Isn't this such a fun design?!

Before we get to the linky party - I also wanted to share this special Eggstravaganza Bundle we have in the shop at a special price! Happy Easter friends! :)

I like that colour scheme for your kitchen. I've got pale blue walls and quite a few red utensils and things :) The table runner turned out great!
