Moda Sampler Block Shuffle {Block 17}

Today, I am just sharing the instructions for block 17.  There are two blocks in the series that are appliqué.  I love doing appliqué, but for my quilt I decided I wanted to have all pieced blocks.  I still wanted to share the instructions for the block for those of you who want to include these fun appliqué blocks! :)  I will be submitting my two appliquéd blocks, with previous blocks - so that I still have 30 blocks!
