Here it is!! I'm sure you guessed the layout of this after we got all the blocks sewn together last week.  This one is such a fun design and all the red and white just make my heart happy!

For the quilting, I did some feathers and swirls -- a fun combination for this quilt! My favorite part of the quilt is that center block! I think I need to make an entire quilt from that block alone!

I hope you enjoyed this Mystery Quilt sew along!  I had so much fun with this one and I hope you will join me again next month for our Spring Mystery Quilt!

Our third block is a Heart in a Star Block

This block is sooo sooo pretty! It has a lot of pieces, and takes a little time to put together, but the finished product is gorgeous! For this block you will want to use a SCANT 1/4" seam allowance.

There are A LOT of seams in this block, and so it's important to that your piecing is accurate! :)

Have we mentioned how much we love this Mystery Quilt?!  The fabric for this sew along is just gorgeous and we can't believe how vibrant it is! Plus those metallic accents just make it that much more pretty!

Hi there! Are you guys ready for another Mystery Quilt Sew Along?!!  I AM! I think this one if my favorite to date - and that's saying something because I have LOVED the other two we have done so far! I know you guys are going to love it too!

A few things before we begin: 

• Please read ALL instructions before starting.

• Please measure twice and cut once - I have made the cutting instructions very specific  - and there IS NOT a lot of room for cutting errors - so PLEASE BE CAREFUL!

• I am posting the blocks for the quilt in no particular order - to keep this EXTRA MYSTERIOUS! 

• Accuracy is KEY!  This quilt requires you to be very accurate with your piecing - A 1/4" quilting foot is recommended for piecing.  

• I have made the entire quilt already (and it is sooo cute!!) - and so all blocks and piecing have been tested. 

• This is all about having fun!! This was a joy to design and it was even more fun piecing this quilt! I can't wait for the final reveal! 

Alright, I think you guys are ready to get started!

First, I have included a cutting sheet.  This sheet is cutting for the ENTIRE QUILT.  It is very helpful if you mark all your pieces with the letters I have assigned each piece.  Please measure twice and cut once! There is nothing worse than making a cutting mistake! So pay careful attention please!

Love Throughout the Year {Mystery Quilt}

Hi there! Are you guys ready for another Mystery Quilt Sew Along?!!  I AM! This one has been in the works for a while, and I CANNOT wait to share this one with you guys! I think this one if my favorite to date - and that's saying something because I have LOVED the other two we have done so far! I know you guys are going to love it too!

Since it's a "Mystery Quilt" I can only tell you a few things:

• It is a red and white quilt - that can be used all year round.
• It is 38" x 38" 
• We have kits available - with backing and binding INCLUDED. **SOLD OUT** You will want to pick up a kit as soon as possible - because we have sold out of our last two mystery quilt kits fast! 
• You don't have to "sign up" to join in - just check the blog every Wednesday starting February 14 - to download the pattern for that week.
• On week one, I will include a cutting sheet - that will be for the whole quilt.  
• This Sew Along will last five weeks.  
• I will include a PDF download each week so you can easily print off the instructions for each block.
• Skill level for this quilt is a confident beginner - this quilt is traditionally pieced.
